Cartographers - Rules of the board game
The rules of the game are available for download in the following languages:
Extra information
If you cannot legally draw one of the available shapes, then you must draw, anywhere on the map, a 1x1 square instead:
- If if is a monster, you must draw a monster
- in all other cases, you may choose any terrain type (except mountains)
Spaces that share a side with each other are adjacent.
Shapes can be rotated and flipped as needed.
Ruins don't apply to monsters.
2 different edicts are scored at the end of each season:
- 8 Spring: A & B
- 8 Summer: B & C
- 7 Fall: C & D
- 6 Winter: D & A

There are 6 terrain types:
- Water
- Farm
- Village
- Forest
- Monster
- Mountain
